Mr. Bobby Wilkinson is a Master-Builder in Butler, Alabama. Click on the thumbnails below and check out his progress on the AT 502B.
TEST FLIGHT HAS HAPPENED... On January 29th the AT502B-100 left the runway, and we were pleased to see that the MVVS 2.15 gasoline engine pulled the plane nicely. Check out the photos below for a closer look at a masterpiece. Bobby came up with his own scheme, which shares some of the typical AG-style striping, but in the colors of the Fire Boss. Blue is dark Ultrakote with tapered red pin striping.
Photos can not do this model justice... It is detailed to the last handle, scoop, and step. Dash panel is well defined, notice open tubing framework above the tail wheel assembly, and scale tailwheel. The workmanship is flawless.. I am proud to know a builder such as Bobby Wilkinson, but to know him as a friend is THE BEST!

Thumbnails below are photos of AT502B-100 finished in the CONAIR firefighting scheme. This Air Tractor shows how attention to detail along with excellent building skills pay off. The model was built by Mr. Phil Aubry who lives in New Zealand. The plans, and laser cut parts are from TEAMDUSTER. Quite a few of the AT502B-100, and the AT502-72 are slowly being completed, but this Conair Version has to be one of the best we have seen. Many thanks to Phil for allowing us to post his excellent work on the website.
Power is OS BGX, Covering is Monokote, with painted graphics. Working hopper system looks very scale, as well as scoops, steps, etc. Test flight should be in about four weeks.
